Covered Bridge Park offers a playground area, picnic area and allows for wading into the Jordan Creek. Families can float, and explore the creek, search for fish and other creatures. Wear water shoes or old sneakers for your visit to protect your feet while exporing the creek.

Crystal Cave's deep under ground cave attraction is the most popular natural attraction in Pennsylvania. Located near Kutztown it is an easy day trip. It is educational for everyone and the cool caverns make a nice place to cool off in the summer. It makes an excellent group outing or field trip.

The Ironton Rail Trail is a converted railroad track. The railraod was used from 1860 through 1996 and was abandoned in 1984. In 1996 the track was purchased and re-purposed, the track is now a paved path located just north of Whitehall. The trail is a total of 9.2 miles and includes a 5.5 mile loop.
